Hi all,

At our April meeting hosted by Ted Goertzel, I passed around a sign-up sheet to host our Men's Group for the rest of this calendar year.  My thanks for those agreeing to host.

Our Men's Group meets at 6:00 PM on the third Wednesday of each month unless the host wishes to set an alternate time.   Generally, the host provides the meeting place with dinnerware needs and an entree food item. We have found there seems to be a preference to meet in the Social Hall for most meetings as it offers a central location and adequate space, but use of the Social Hall is the host's decision.  Should the host choose to meet at the Social Hall, I suggest recruiting another person or two to help with set-up and clean-up.  Should the host wish to suggest a discussion topic, I encourage the topic be given a few days in advance to allow time for reflection and thought.

For the hosts: please notify the church office a week or two before your meeting so the particulars can be included in the Order of Service and weekly email updates. It is beneficial to send an announcement email a week or so before your meeting through men at fuusm.org<mailto:men at fuusm.org>.  An announcement in our monthly Confluence is sent via this email to the newsletter editor.  A key for the Social Hall door can be picked up in advance at the church office or one of our men who have a key may be available to assist the host if you let us know.

               For the men on the men at fuusm.org<mailto:men at fuusm.org> list, our Men's Group welcomes all men who are members or friends of FUUSM.  If you have not been to one of the meetings or if it has been some time since attending, please consider joining us.
