So it appears that all had a country adventure on their way home. A
different tree blocked Chris last Monday on her way to physical therapy.
I am tempted to carry a chain saw in the vehicle with some good tow ropes.
Just enough to clear a way.

Middlebourne route is longer but better roads once you get to the gas well.
State maintains it for the gas wells but not us.

Subject: Thanks for hosting Men's Group

Hi Al,

I wanted to thank you again for hosting Men's Group last night. I was
impressed with the size of the burgers and the number of men who turned out
to your Tyler County hide-a-way. Just thinking about it this morning, I
recall 15 men who were there and may be forgetting someone.

I felt bad in not having our customary check in but the prospect of driving
unfamiliar narrow roads in the dark presented a safety concern. As it
turned out, I'm glad we broke up the group when we did. Bill, Allan and I
were the first to leave and we discovered a large tree had fallen across the
road about a mile or less from your house. Turning around on the narrow
road with a ditch on one side and a drop off on the other was a challenge.
I backed the car up for a couple hundred yards till I found a slightly wider
area and carefully turned the car. I signaled to stop the cars of George,
Mike and Jonathan as they were heading toward the fallen tree and Jonathan
remained at your driveway exit to let the other men know the situation. By
going the way of Route 18 to Route 2, it increased the drive time that it
was dark by the time I got back home. Your map was of immense help.

Gary
