[Men] Hosts for FUUSM Men's Group

Hi all,

              Post Covid vaccinations, the FUUSM Men's Group resumed in person meetings at George Banziger's residence in June of this year.  I was travelling and unable to attend but I heard it was a great gathering.  The July meeting was hosted by John Kidd and the August meeting at Al Tuttle's with 17 men in attendance in the remote countryside of Tyler County, West Virginia (quite an accomplishment!).  Due to the gathering and fellowship at LeRoy and Kat's pig Roast on September 25, our group will not be meeting this month.  I have a list of volunteer hosts for the next few months and am including them in this email.

              Please contact me if you are willing to host our February 2021 meeting.

               Meetings typically begin at 6:30 PM and end by 9:00 PM on the third Wednesday of each month.

               For the hosts: please notify Chris Keller at our church office a week or two before your meeting so she can include the particulars related to the meeting in the Order of Service and weekly email updates.  An announcement in our monthly Confluence is of benefit and I expect Ted will announce our monthly meetings.  Please extend an invitation directly to the men at fuusm.org<mailto:men at fuusm.org> address.  Generally, the host provides the meeting place, an entree food item; and, if time permits, is in charge of selecting a topic for discussion after a check-in by the attendees.  I encourage the discussion topic be given as part of the announcement to allow time for reflection and thought.

               For the men on the men at fuusm.org<mailto:men at fuusm.org> list, our Men's Group welcomes all men who are members or friends of FUUSM.  If you have not been to one of the meetings or if it has been some time since attending, please consider joining us.
