FUUSM Men

 

Men’s Group: Next Wednesday, Aug 18th,  6:00 PM.  

 

I will be hosting the monthly Men’s Group at our “farm” located near
Middlebourne WV.   Attached are directions.   Driving time from the church
via the back country shortcut is 1 ¼ hour.

I will prepare burgers and hotdogs and have some iced tea and lemonade.

 

Please bring

1.	a dish, 
2.	other beverage of your choice, 
3.	and lawn chair/folding chair.    

 

If raining we can meet inside, but, per FUUSM policy and CDC guidelines,
wear masks when not eating.

 

There is plenty of parking, but because of distance, you may want to car
pool.  

 

Note the earlier time – 6:00 PM.   But you are welcome to come earlier if
you wish to walk around and see the farm.   Chris will be offering tours of
the gardens, Hi tunnel, and old farmhouse for those interested.

 

(Ted- you inquired about bicycling-   Little Sancho Creek Rd is about 6 mi
in total length.  Fairly level but bad repair from our place east to the
Wick Rd (3.4 mi).  Usually not too busy 30-40 cars/trucks in the evening.)  

 

For those who want an adventure, plug this lat/long into your GPS:   USGS -
Lat Long NAD 27   lat: 39:27:15.88 N / long -80:58:9.90 W

You will get here EVENTUALLY,  GPS usually directs people over 1 lane,
gravel, pot holed roads in a round about way.
