[Men] Two Follow Up Items

FUUSM Men:

   At our recent meeting Gary raised two items that Martha McGovern asked him to take up with the Men's Group.

    1. Holiday Decoration of the Sanctuary. This is a reminder that we agreed to do this task  at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 28. 

    2. A Worship Service by Men's Group. I was asked to discuss with Martha the ideas we brought up at our meeting.  I told her that the theme she described to Gary did not resonate well with the group, but that we discussed two  ideas about a worship service. One is presentation of the initiative of Braver Angels to heal the political divide in our country; the other is a service similar to what the women did, i.e., what the Men's Group means to us and incorporating a tribute to Ron Tepley in such a message.

     Martha suggested that we do both of these ideas.  I agreed to help with the Braver Angels service and plan a service January 24 on that theme. Martha asked me to ask the Men's Group in what month the men would like to offer their service. It looks like a service in February or March would be open (Green sanctuary is doing April, and there is one lay-led service per month).

    Please let me know your preference between those two months
