This is the email I mentioned in our meeting, I don't think the meeting
Beth Casebolt is having is limited to board members or anything.  She has
one every week and I attended one and I was the only person there.  This is
just for Appalachian Cluster people, and there is some sense to that for
the issue of reopening since conditions are different here than in many
other places with UU churches.

If you did not see Susan Frederick-Gray’s email on Thursday, the UUA is now
recommending that all Congregations plan to be virtual only through May 31,

When  you are ready to start considering re-opening, you will want to read
through the UUA’s guidance on gathering in-person that helps you think
about the questions each group will need to talk about, please read it here:

I’m certain you all have different thoughts and emotions around this topic.
So I want to offer two different opportunities for you to gather and
reflect on this news.

First of all I am offering a time for us to gather as a cluster on
Wednesday, May 27th at 7 pm. The zoom information for this meeting is at
the end of this email. You are invited to come and share your success
stories from the past couple of months, your frustrations and how you are
thinking about approaching the new church year. And perhaps we may talk
about ways the different congregations can work together in the next year.
We could share services and presentations, small group gatherings or other
opportunities.

Second, the CER staff has scheduled a series of webinars for congregational
leaders to gather with their peers to have the same types conversations.
