[Men] Men's Group Meeting Tonight

The men's group will be meeting tonight (Thursday March 19) at 7 in a Zoom
Room.  The address is:

We've had some  experience with this, which I am learning along with
everyone else.  Here are some things I've picked up:

You can use an iPhone or probably an android phone instead of a computer.
Mike Lang had computer problems last night, but he connected later using
his iphone.

If you use a laptop, the microphone has to be working.  You can do
voice-only without video, but it is better if you can also turn on the
video.  It's more like a real men's group meeting if we can see each other.

It's a good idea to mute your microphone when you're not speaking.  If
there's a lot of people, I'll take the responsibility as host to call on
people.  We'll have our usual check-in, sharing what's happening in our
lives.

It seems to work well with the Chrome browser, with other browsers it may
be necessary to install the Zoom software.  If so, it will prompt you to do
so.

Installing the software on your laptop seems a good idea anyway.  It is
easy to go to Zoom.com in advance of the meeting (click the button on the
upper right where it says "jon now it's free").  Once you learn this you
may use it for other things including church services on Sunday.

If we find this helpful, we can do it more often than once a month.  It
looks like we'll be having a lot of free time.  Maybe we would like a once
a week check-in where we share pointers for dealing with life in a
pandemic?  It's an idea we can discuss tonight.  Maybe this should be for
men and women, not just for men?
