[Men] Harvest Of Hope

FUUSM Men:

    I have been a volunteer (driver & helper) for Harvest of Hope for eight years. Darryl Ting first introduced me to this great institution in our county that addresses food insecurity. Since Gwen is quite vulnerable to the corona virus, I have stopped serving in those roles which require going into stores, food pantries and churches. What I have been doing is sorting meat at the Maple St HQ of HoH (on the west side right next to the Busy Bee). I do this three days a week, going in to arrange the meat delivery for the following day. It takes about a  half hour.

    If someone else can volunteer to do this task twice a week, we can arrange a schedule that covers the entire delivery plan for each week. Either I or Director Susan Allender can do an orientation on this quite simple but very important task.  I can also arrange to have a key made for easy access to the building.
