The January 2018 Confluence incorrectly listed Kevin Morey as the January host for our Men's Group.  George Banziger had signed up to host in January.


Please note the listing of hosts emailed in September, which currently names the hosts for January through May of 2018.  If you have any questions, please let me know.

Hi all,

       Please note a couple of updates to the current list of hosts for Men's Group.

       Regrettably, we are saying farewell to one of our regulars, Rhea Bockkorst.  Rhea had signed up to host the February meeting but circumstances have changed and he and Anna will soon be moving to Black Mountain, N.C.  Mike Bailey has volunteered to host the February meeting.  In addition, John Kidd volunteered to host the May, 2018 meeting at his residence.

       We had 23 men in attendance at our September 20th Men's Group meeting at Leroy's and I was pleased that Rhea could attend to hear some best wishes, along with a little good-natured harassment.  I heard many compliments of how Leroy did such an outstanding job hosting the group and preparing the delightful and ample Greek chicken dish.  Also, much thanks should be extended to all in sharing personal happenings and feelings.

       The revised list of hosts for Men's Group appears below:

        For the hosts: please notify Chris a week or two before your meeting so she can include the particulars related to the meeting in the Order of Service and weekly email updates.  An announcement in our monthly Confluence is of benefit and I am forwarding a copy of this listing to Adeline.  Generally, the host is in charge of selecting a topic for discussion after a check-in by the attendees, if time permits.  I encourage the topic be given as part of the announcement to allow time for reflection and thought.



               For the men on the men at fuusm.org<mailto:men at fuusm.org> list, our Men’s Group welcomes all men who are members or friends of FUUSM.  If you have not been to one of the meetings or if it has been some time since attending, please consider joining us.
