> Albert I. "Alberto" Prince, 91, of St. Petersburg, FL, born in Hartford, CT November 2, 1925 to Ethel Snow Prince and Albert I. Prince, Sr., died in St. Petersburg, November 26, 2016 of a heart attack. He graduated from high school in Hartford, CN and began his college studies at Wesleyan University, leaving after a semester to join the U.S Army as a paratrooper. He served in the Pacific and was a part of the occupying forces in Japan at the end of World War II. He graduated from Wesleyan University and pursued degrees in psychology, a masters in Science at the University of New Hampshire, and a PhD from the University of Connecticut. His research was carried on at McDonald Douglas and George Washington University. He taught at Stetson University in Deland, FL, Denver University, Evansville University, and at Marietta College where he served as department chair until his retirement in 1990. He enjoyed sports and politics, Shakespeare and chess. He was a walker who enjoyed handball and racketball into his eighties. He was a long time member of the First Unitarian Universalist Society of Marietta.

(Thornhill) Prince; two sons, Frederick C Prince (wife, Mayra) of Ypsilanti, MI, and Martin R. Prince (wife, Hong Lei) of New York City, NY; eight grandchildren, Emanuel Orellana, Katherine Orellana, Whitney and Anna Gabriela of Michigan; and Jennifer Song, Serena, Max, and Celia Prince of New York; and several nieces and other extended family.
