I would like to see it go in the dog park. I think it would be safer with it there. The dog park is a little out of the way, someone might need assistance in getting an ambulance there. Who falls… right? lol

Subject: [Green] Moving the solar bench

Hi Green friends,

I heard back from both Steve Wetz and Mayor Schlicher. They aren't keen on the Seventh and Putnam location we proposed. I suspect that they have something else planned for that intersection. But they proposed to spots--and they've be willing to move it for us. Here's what Steve said:

Dawn, Good Morning! So, the Mayor and I have been chatting about a location for the

bench. Two areas that are more likely to be used more than the corner of 7th and Putnam

are:

1. Gold Star Park

2. Jackson Hill Dog Park

We can take care of the move of the bench, you and your group would just need to decide which of the two locations you would prefer.

**

(Dawn here again): I have long liked the idea of placing it at the dog park. That park is heavily used, and often by people just sitting around while their dogs play.

So, what do we want to do? Your thoughts, please!
