Yes, thanks, Vic!  My "No Climate Corner?" letter to the editor ran on Jan.
28, so I can't help out with this, either. BTW, I loved your Jimmy Carter
tribute in Saturday's Climate Corner

Cindy, I agree--these local earthquakes are really disturbing given how
much toxic brine we've got stored down there--under pressure. Fissures
develop during earthquakes (obviously), providing new paths for liquid to
flow. Let's just hope cracks didn't develop between the pressurized brine
storage and our aquifer. Why are we engaging in such risky behavior?!?
