[Green] Green Sanctuary Committee minutes from March 16 meeting

Dear Green friends,

I have been sitting on these minutes (attached), which Adeline sent to me
more than a month ago. I'm sorry. Truly, I have been insanely busy for the
past few months. Things are finally lightening up--just in time for me to
be gone for a week and get behind. (I hope not.)

An agenda will be forthcoming in the next few days, I hope, because I don't
want to do it while I'm away and my mind is on warblers and vireos and
flycatchers and tanagers, etc. So, please stay tuned for the agenda, and
don't forget our meeting on *Sunday, May 4,* usual time, usual place.

OH!  And one more thing: Two worth events on *Saturday* are competing for
our attention. *Both begin at 1 p.m*
1. The rescheduled Ohio River Cleanup! Meet at the Williamstown boat launch
(turn right immediately after crossing the bridge, and then turn right at
the Miami Vice house) for a free boat ride to Buckley Island to pick up
trash.

2. A public meeting at Warren High School on the proposed new injection
well on property owned by Warren Water & Sewer district. Here's a link to

Deep Rock is the company who wishes to install the well, and they've
apparently already been permitted to do so. The Warren Water Commissioners
DO NOT WANT THIS WELL, and neither do I. So, that's where I'll be. Truly,
I'd rather be on Buckley Island picking up trash. If anyone wants a ride
with me, let me know.
