I have been interviewed by the local papers (Parkersburg and Marietta)--Amber.  I shared with them the communication from Americorps, and my thoughts about it.  She thought it would run in the paper tomorrow.  And a picture of the Americorp crew.

Yesterday afternoon, the Americorps crew working here at Ohio River Islands NWR was notified that they were terminated by DOGE. It was a heartbreaking time. They immediately had to return to their camp and start packing up and hit the road last night.
