I can be at the church with my truck a little before 9, so Debra and I will help with set–up and take-down. Jim

Earth Day: Chris and I will be there to help! I may still have some stickers/tattoos that we have used before, and will bring them if I can find them!
And yes, as Adeline mentioned, I am willing to read something as part of the service.

For the service: Forgot to say that Kelcey agreed to do a reading or something that you've chosen for an element of the service.
Also forgot to send you some words about the sermon contest expectations. I'll get it to you tomorrow
For the Earth Day event:
I'll cut out some leaf shapes to get you started. Did we use glue sticks to attach leaves to the tree last year? I had an idea that we might also add some birds or bird nests and eggs (sorta thinking Easter) to the tree. Maybe some flowers at the bottom or something.
I'll bring the binder with some materials from other displays we have done.
We could also print some "bookmarks" or cards with the GSC logo and our mission statement and/or meeting link.
Could we hang a banner on the popup? One of those that Membership had printed is sort of green themed.
Do we have posters from Vic for the tree planting and river sweep?
I will read the reports in the morning, although I'm sure they are all just fine.

Friends,
This is important.
1. Attached is my (late) annual report write up. It was due at 9 this morning. Good thing the church lady is tolerant of tardiness. Please read it and let me know if I've forgotten anything important. It includes two versions: A longer one for the packet, and a shorter one for the presentation. I welcome constructive criticism. Please send your comments to dawnbirder at gmail.com <mailto:dawnbirder at gmail.com> (not to green at fuusm) so as not to burden the whole committee with editorial comments.
2. Earth Day is Saturday, starting at 10! Jim and Debra: Can we use your truck to haul our three canopies and three tables and a few chairs from FUUSM to the Armory? At 9 a.m.? I haven't planned this event very well. Please bring whatever you can think of that's green. I can bring my solar clothes dryer, images of FUUSM's solar array, a bunch of jars for George's CCL display, a cardboard tree and some blank leaves, markers. I have wildflower seeds and envelopes, but I have neglected to ask for help filling the envelopes. We can do that on Saturday. Seeking volunteers at 9 to help set up, volunteers to staff the booth from 10-1, and volunteers to take down and put away at 1. Help. Please help!
3. We will conduct the service on Sunday. Adeline and George will present reflections. I'll plan the rest of the service and serve as worship leader. But it would be GREAT to have a volunteer or two or five for various parts of the service, such as reading the chalice lighting, the closing words, the story for all ages, etc. Anyone? Anyone? Buehler. Sure, I can do it all by myself if I have to, but I'd genuinely appreciate this being a team project. Let me know.
Thanks for being Green!
