I think finding a better location is the top priority so if a county location hits that target then let’s do it

Steve and Geoff,

As we know, the solar bench needs to be moved out of the flood zone. I missed the last Green Sanctuary meeting at which it was discussed, but a neighborhood group has proposed moving the bench to the site of the genealogy library, since that space will be turned into a garden once the library moves to Front Street. That site, of course, is county property rather than city.

Did you two have a preferred space for the bench on city property? Or would it be all right with you if it moved to a county-owned space? The neighborhood group and the Green Sanctuary Committee are willing to be in charge of moving the bench if need be and have some funds for that purpose.

Please let me know your thoughts. It has been a pleasure to work with you two.

Rebecca
