Sorry--I did not intend to send the previous version of this email. Don't
know how it happened.
NOTE: The meeting might start a bit later than usual so we can pay tribute
to fellow Greenie Rebecca Phillips, who will soon depart our company.
1. Whether she attends the meeting or not, let's take a few minutes to
reflect on all that Rebecca Phillips has contributed to helping restore
nature and otherwise care for the Earth as an active and project-leading
member of the GSC for so long. What will we do without her?
2. Approval of minutes from September 15 meeting.
3. Solar bench update
a. No news on relocation
b. December events calendar should be created and posted on or before
October 31. Dawn will NOT be able to assist.
4. Pollinator Habitat Update
5. Climate Justice Revival post mortem, and where we go from here.
6. George Banziger's Reports
a. Save Ohio Parks news, including meeting with Oil and Gas Land
Management Commission tomorrow afternoon. See attached saved email.
b. See George's report, which he emailed to all of us a few days ago.
Kudos to Debra Miller for her letter on brine vs. brine waste, which ran
Sept. 25 in the *Marietta Times*!

colleague
Dr Dan Calverley, Kevin Anderson established a new project Climate
Uncensored, providing “robust, unflinching commentary and assessment of the
scale of the climate challenge and our responses to it.” Acknowledging “the
inspiring and often courageous work of the climate science community ..
when it comes to cutting emissions, there is a widespread failure to accept
the true scale and urgency of the challenge. Such ‘mitigation denial’ is
rife, even within the expert community.” Climate Uncensored focuses on
cutting emissions, taking its lead from the Paris commitment to hold the
global temperature rise to *‘well below 2°C and pursuing efforts to limit
the increase to 1.5°C’*. it is guided by the IPCC’s carbon budgets and
strives to remain cognizant of issues of equity and fairness. *REGISTER
