[Green] Green Sanctuary Committee minutes, draft agenda and call for agenda items

Hello, Green friends!  I hope you will join me at 12:30ish Sunday, March 17, in the RE parlor, for our monthly Green Sanctuary Committee meeting. We have events to plan in April, so lots of ideas and willing participants are needed!!

1. Approval of minutes from our February meeting, attached (really!!)  
2. Ecological restoration - Mark K (if he has time. Broughton Blue Trail exotic shrub removal workday begins at 1 p.m.)
a.  Reminders: Native plant propagation course April 13 at Broughton Nature Preserve. To register, email mark.krivchenia at gmai.com <mailto:mark.krivchenia at gmai.com>. Cost is $25. Visit thebroughtonfoundation.org <http://thebroughtonfoundation.org/>
b.  Native Plant Sales in late May and early June in Marietta (Saturday, June 1at farmers market), Parkersburg and Athens. GSC has agreed to help with sales, staffing some tables. 
c. What should Dawn do with the 1,000,000 native plant seeds Annie Warmke gave her?




3. GSC is in charge of April 14 Sunday Service. 
	a. Will Rebecca P. be worship leader?
	b. Title of Refection: What Can One Little Person Do?
		a. Will five people present for four minutes each?
		b. Will four people speak for five minutes each?
		c. Other volunteers to read relevant essay or poem?
		d. Other ideas?




4. Marietta Earth Day, Saturday, April 20 from 10-1 at the Armory
	a. Need volunteers to haul and set up canopies. How many
	b. Vic: Do we need to bring tables and chairs?  How many?
	c. Theme: “What Can One Little Person Do?” 
		1) Dawn will bring her solar-powered clothes line (again)
		2) What else can we show and tell?
		3) George will have CCL banner and info
		4) Cindy: sustainable art activities?
		5) Hand out native plant seeds and info sheets?
	d. Need volunteers to clean up, tear down, and haul canopies back to UU
	e. Followed immediately by tree-planting at Buckley Island (ORINWR), which some of us really, really want to help with.
	f. Other ideas and plans?


5. Updates from George on
	a. CCL
	b. Injection wells: (Meeting on Wednesday, March 27, at 7 p.m.)
	c. Save Ohio Parks (perhaps Anne Sparks will contribute here)
