It is a very good essay, George. Indeed, I would say you hit all of buttons they are looking for, and then some. For anyone living outside of our area or within, and is unaware of our situation, this is certainly a wake-up call. Hopefully more sermons will be forthcoming. Jim G.

Subject: [Green] Climate Sermon Contest
Green Sanctuary Committee
Attached is a draft of my offering to the Climate Sermon Contest (for the Climate Justice Revival event). I hope to submit this entry before the August 1 deadline. I would appreciate any comments, edits, constructive suggestions. I heard encouraging comments to my initial ideas about this topic at our last GSC meeting. Please send comments by July 17.
I tried to hit all the buttons mentioned in the contest announcement--intersectionality, common ground, etc..
If you make any change inside the document, please rename it and send back to me.
Is anyone else planning to make an entry to this contest?
