[Green] Earth day canopies

Got it!  Thanks, Vic, and … nice try—but we have three canopies we can use.

Jim, Ginnie and I will be meeting at FUUSM tomorrow at 9 a.m. with Jim’s
truck. If anyone wants to help us, that would be great. Lifting required,
but not heavy lifting!  Otherwise, please meet us at 9:30 at the Armory to
unload and set up. “Doors” open at 10.

I made a flat, bare “tree” out of cardboard and will snag some green paper
from the FUUSM office, plus child-safe scissors and Sharpies and stick
glue. Adults and kids can cut leaf like shapes, write something on
them—maybe a thank-you note to trees, or a wish for the Earth, or just
decorate the leaf and stick it on the “tree.”

I’ll also put some zip ties and tape in my trunk.I’ll try to find the FUUSM
or GSC banner, and Ginnie will snag some of the photos from the GSC
bulletin board. Oh, and I’ll bring my solar clothes line. Ginnie has a
solar powered globe she’ll bring.

So, we’ll have stuff to talk about. And native wildflower seeds.

Agenda for Sunday’s meeting is forthcoming, but first, I have to run back
down to the church to lock the RE building.
