This email is to let you know that the registration link for the WVU Native
American Studies October events is now live and ready for folks to sign up:
https://nas.wvu.edu/fall-2023-forum



Attached is the event poster (as both a pdf and jpg). Feel free to email or
share on social media with your students, colleagues, and others throughout
the State and region. The QR code on the poster will scan directly to the
webpage registration.



We’re looking forward to welcoming these esteemed leaders to “THIS LAND WAS
ALREADY LOVED,” holding our annual Peace Tree Ceremony, and commemorating
Indigenous Peoples Day 2023 in such a special way.



How is it possible to offer this historic programming in a time of such
extreme budgetary concern? All thanks goes to our wonderful funding
partners! (See listing at bottom of registration page) *So very grateful*
for the generosity of our individual donors, the West Virginia Humanities
Council grant, funding from other external organizations, WVU Foundation
funds provided by fellow University departments, and the NAS Reyer Visiting
Lectureship foundation fund. Without these invaluable contributions, big or
small, we would not have been able to proceed.
