[Green] Fort Street Work Day September 23

Hello, all,

Saturday's volunteers got a lot done, and one more push should get us ready to move shorter species to places where they are less likely to be overwhelmed by our enthusiastic giants. We will work from 9-11 this Saturday, September 23. Please bring your favorite shovel or digging fork; hand pruners can also be useful. And while we are making headway on the poison ivy, it does have a way of sneaking in, so long pants and long sleeves are a good idea.

And if you can use wingstem, evening primrose, cup plant, or blue aster on your site, feel free to bring containers and take some home with you. (And if you are not strictly a regional native gardener—take cosmos seed. Please!)
