[Green] Seeds

Apologies if you get this twice—I tried sending it to Green and Rosebuds at the same time and am not sure it went to everyone.


Fellow greenies and rosebuds,



I do not feel like setting up winter sowing this year but hate to let seeds go to waste, so seeds for the following species are in need of homes. Please let me know if you can provide for them.

Anemone canadensis

Baptisia australis (also in pods)

Penstemon digitalis (probably the cultivar “Huskers Red”)—in pods

Ratibida pinnata

Rudbeckia hirta

Common milkweed and butterfly milkweed (unfortunately, I neglected to label which was which)

Ironweed

Joe-Pye weed (not sure which species, but the parent plants were eight feet tall)

Offspring of Chris Hoke’s tall yellow and orange cosmos—not native this far east but great nectar plants
