[Green] Proposed amendments to the fossil fuel divestment resolution

I will be attending a Zoom meeting on three proposed amendments to the fossil fuel divestment business resolution later today. I have attached the business resolution, the text of the three amendments, and a statement from the UUA's treasurer/CFO. We are past the cutoff date for adding amendments, so I cannot add a timeline amendment from the floor, if I understand the rules correctly.

As far as I can tell, the major objection to the resolution from the UUA Trustees and the treasurer is that the UUA decided a few years ago to use shareholder advocacy to lobby financial institutions to divest from fossil fuels. Divestment would eliminate this tool. A fuller discussion is on p. 2 of the treasurer's statement.

I may not be able to attend the June 18 meeting. Chase is having a medical procedure in Akron on the morning of the 19th, and I am likely to head up on Sunday. However, I would appreciate the sense of the group to guide my vote at GA.
