[Green] Harmar Days--volunteers needed!

Hello, all,

I still do not have the set-up information for Harmar Days but suspect that we will need to bring a canopy. Where are they stored? I have the table, tablecloth, and materials for giveaway at home.

Have also not yet received the vendor schedule: last year Maple Street (where the vendors usually are) did not open until Saturday, but in prior years set-up occurred on Friday, so I have set up the staffing schedule for that timeline, hoping to avoid conflict with the car show.

Mostly, our table volunteers will be sharing information about the habitat, Homegrown National Park, and how home landscapes can be made more pollinator-friendly. It would be great if we had enough people (two for each shift, more to set up the canopy)  for someone to take interested folks down to the habitat and point out what is blooming, . Unfortunately, we have not had enough volunteers to get the memorial garden in shape, but there are a few plantings in place and doing well. (I will be updating the volunteer information sheet and emailing it in a day or two.) And because of scheduling issues around concrete work, the staircase has not yet been replaced, so we still have no handrail. But at least we can talk about the future upgrades.
