Since the first week of ILR ends at 5:00 on Friday the 29th, I vote for Saturday.

Subject: [Green] Sustainable Supper Date

Dearest Green friends,

We’re planning a Just Dinner/Sustainable Supper potluck. Please bring “righteous” food to share, such as homegrown, local, organic, vegetarian, vegan, meat that is local and humanely raised and slaughtered, locally caught fish, wild foraged, etc. No real restrictions, but we hope each dish will contain mindfully chosen ingredients.

We will invite all FUUSM members and friends, and anyone in the community who might be interested in mindful cooking and eating. (When we’ve had these in the past, it’s often been just we Green people who show up. Let’s hope for a wider circle!)

Shall we host this on Friday, Sept. 29, or Saturday, Sept. 30?  The church lady has confirmed that the social hall is available both evenings. Send me your vote by Wednesday at 10 p.m. I vote for Saturday, but I’ll still be there if the majority votes for Friday.
