The city is sending me a “reminder” for a two public meetings next week—but this is the first I’ve heard of them. I attended a meeting for this long ago—last fall, maybe. Then nothing until now, and I’ll be out of town next week!

I hope anyone who lives in the city of Marietta will attend this. I wish I could. Darn.

The City of Marietta is continuing its efforts to engage the public in the development of a comprehensive plan for the city. The comprehensive plan is a long-term policy document focusing on the city's development and investment. The zoning regulations are the city's ordinances that establish how land and buildings can be used and all the requirements for new development. For the next series of meetings, we will be facilitating individual ward meetings to get more detailed in sight on investment and connectivity opportunities.
