[Green] Fwd: PUCO hearings on AEP rate hikes

Dear Green friends,

I reconnected with the Sierra Club’s Becca Pollard at Earth Day, and she’s encouraging Marietta folks to be aware of AEP’s planned rate hikes, including a PUCO (Public Utilities Commission of Ohio) hearing RIGHT HERE IN MARIETTA on May 1. 

In advance of that hearing, tomorrow night—April 27—at 6 p.m., there is a virtual training, so those who attend will understand the issue and speaking up about it. See Becca’s message, below, for the link.

Can’t attend that hearing on May 1? There will also be a virtual hearing on May 9. That link is below, too. I can’t attend either hearing, but I’m still signing up for tomorrow night’s training so that I know what’s going on with my electricity provider—and then I can email the PUCO with my input. 

If you’re free tomorrow night, please sign up for the training, and then attend either the May 1 (live) or May 9 (virtual) hearing.
