The installation of a mowing edge along the top of the Fort Street Pollinator Habitat is scheduled to begin at 8:00 AM this Saturday, September 17. We need people to move bricks from the storage area near Gilman Methodist to Fort Street, people to dig a 9x3-inch trench from the beginning of the habitat to the beginning of the Harmar River Trail, and people to lay bricks in the trench following a very simple design. Morning Rotary and Marietta Main Street have committed volunteers already, but the project supervisor estimates that we could use at least 16 people, with more welcome. If you can help with this heavy work, even for an hour, that would be great.

Or if you would like to rip out the Bermuda grass that has invaded the base of the slope, that would also be a good thing.
