[Green] We got a thank-you note from UUMFE

Dear Greenies,

Today we received a thank-you note from UUMFE in Portland. It was addressed to Kat and FUUSM, so I felt okay opening it. It says:

Dear Kathryn,

Just a note of deep gratitude for your witness for justice. We are humbled by the First Unitarian Universalist Society of Marietta’s $1,352 gift to the Indigenous Solidarity Fund. You are modeling an example of engagement and partnership. Justice, equality and compassion are at the core of our faith, and I am excited by communities like yours making our values real and embodied.

Both the letter and the envelope are on gorgeous, handmade paper. I’ll put it in the GSC mail slot in the RE building if anyone wants to see it.
