[Green] Public Meeting Announcement

Green Sanctuary Committee:

    While it's significant that ODNR has set up a public meeting on the recent application for an injection well in Little Hocking, the format of this meeting is important. We need to have ODNR answer questions about this application. 

     Below is a copy of the message I sent to ODNR officials about the request for this kind of format.

     Please individualize/revise this message and send a similar request about the format of this meeting.

Mr. Vendel, Mr. Schroeder: 
 
    We are grateful for your setting a public meeting about the proposed Class 
II injection well in Belpre Township (from Arrowhead Road Services).  We are 
also grateful for your sending the announcement about this meeting to all those 
who submitted comments. 
 
     We respectfully request that this meeting be primarily devoted to 
attendants' asking questions and ODNR responding. This format would be more 
desirable than inviting attendants at the meeting to air their comments. You 
already know how we feel about this application from our comments--there's no 
real need to rehash those. What the public in Washington County needs is answers 
to questions, some of which were embedded in comments already submitted.
