Hello, dear Greenies!

 

I hope you are planning to attend the Green Sanctuary Committee meeting on Sunday, March 20 (the vernal equinox!!!), at 12:30 p.m., via Zoom and in a small gathering in the FUUSM sanctuary. Below in text format (NOT attached) is a preliminary agenda for our meeting. Please send me any additional items by 4 p.m. Friday, March 18. Thank you!  Hugs to you all!

Preliminary GSC Agenda

March 20, 2022

1. Happy Vernal Equinox!

2. Approval of minutes of Feb. 20 meeting

3. Riverbank pollinator plot checks:

               Late March: Dawn

               Early April: Rebecca will return, so I suspect we’ll have a few workdays ahead.

                              Pay attention to calls for help via email!

4. Lock One Park Update: Dawn

5. Condor & Eagle support plan:

               a. Indigenous-themed fund-raising dinner in June

               b. Monroe powwow will be July 2&3 at Hannibal Locks

               c. Braiding Sweetgrass book club Second Sunday of May, June, July, at 12:30 in FUUSM

                              social hall or parlor, or outdoors. Dawn will lead discussion.

6. FACT Ohio update: Ginnie

7. Injection wells update: George

8. MOVCA update: Adeline or Cindy

9.  Earth Day Marietta update: Dawn

               a. Must provide our own table, chairs & tent

               b. Share booth with CCL and/or MOVCA

               c. Can we register voters?

               d. Volunteers?  Dawn can’t be there

10. April 24 service planning (next GSC meeting will be April 17)

11. Resuming in-person meetings as primary, with Zoom secondary?
