[Green] Poster/flyer about the Three Sisters Dinner to be held at FUUSM July 16, 2022

Hello again,

Some of you requested the Three Sisters Dinner poster, so it is attached 
here for all of you! We hope you can attend this fundraiser dinner and 
program. At the present time, Dawn and I have tickets to sell ($20 
each), but we'd be happy to have others help with sales. Kelcey will 
take reservations for folks who can't purchase in person. (See poster 
for the email address for reservations.) We have limited attendance to 
50 people, so don't wait too long to get your ticket. Payment in cash is 
fine, and checks are fine as well. Any checks should be written to FUUSM 
with Three Sisters Dinner in the memo line.

*Why are we doing this?* Many of us who were able to view the 
documentary film /The Condor and The Eagle/ were deeply moved by what we 
heard from Indigenous People in the Americas who have been on the front 
lines of battling against climate change and degradation of the lands 
and waters of Mother Earth.  We wanted to do something to support their 
work. We decided to try three approaches: 1) learn more about Indigenous 
teachings and practices relating to the environment; 2) raise awareness 
of their efforts; and 3) give them monetary support. We're learning from 
reading /Braiding Sweetgrass, /and we're trying to learn about (and 
from) the tribes in our own region by attending a powwow on July 2nd. 
We'll keep Indigenous People who are water and land protectors on our 
radar as we learn more about pipelines and other environmental 
injustices facing them. The Three Sisters Dinner is an opportunity to 
share some of what we've learned and, at the same time, raise some funds 
to support the Indigenous efforts.

support of our project!
