[Green] Volunteer Project on Monday, June 13

Big news! The habitat is preparing an expansion. On Monday, we will be laying cardboard and covering it with mulch on the rest of our slope; this technique will smother the grass and prepare the site for planting more native shrubs and forbs.
Volunteers needed to lay the cardboard and move mulch starting at 9:00 AM. With enough people, we should be done in two hours or so. Please bring a rake or other mulch-moving implement, and if someone has a wheelbarrow, that would be really helpful.
