I thought you might be interested in this program coming up next week! 
MOVCA members will be joining in on the screening and Q & A  hosted by 
Sierra Club and organized by our friend Becca Pollard. GSC hosted a 
screening of "Cheshire, Ohio" some years ago. It's a good one to revisit 
now.

Dear Adeline,

The Ohio Beyond Coal Campaign invites you to join us on Thursday, August 
4 at 6:45 p.m. for a free remote screening of /Cheshire Ohio/. This 
documentary film is about a town devastated by pollution from the Gavin 
Power Plant, which at the time of the film, was previously owned by AEP, 
Ohio’s largest coal-fired power plant.

/Cheshire, Ohio/ provides a cautionary tale of the power of dirty energy 
companies and the impact of coal on our air and water.

A tale that is unfortunately all too relevant as today, all Ohioans are 
paying more on our electric bills to bail out old dirty coal plants, 
including the OVEC Kyger Creek plant -- which is right next door to 
Gavin in Cheshire --thanks to HB6, a law that gave bailouts to utilities 
while and the end result of what has been described as "likely the 
largest bribery, money-laundering scheme ever perpetrated against the 
people in the state of Ohio.” ^[1]
