Alas, I will be spreading mulch at the pollinator habitat.

Subject: [Green] Bumblebee and flower survey assistance tomorrow July 16th!
Hi all,
I know this is last minute, but I'm looking for 2-4 volunteers who would like to come out to the refuge office at 10am tomorrow to join in on a bumblebee and flower survey, or Bee Blitz! You'd go out for about an hour with me or my awesome intern, Lillian, to help count bumblebees and estimate flower coverage and record data as we slowly walk on some refuge trails. Probably no more than a 1/4 mile walk. You'd get to learn about bumblebee identification and see our awesome pollinator meadows!
This is part of an ongoing summer effort to track bumblebee presence and flower use. For more information see:
https://u.osu.edu/askabumble/
If you want to join, just let me know via email so I can know how many people to expect. Or, forward on to anyone else you might think is interested. The refuge office address is 3982 Waverly Rd, Williamstown, WV.
Thanks!
Elaine
