BTW, Mark, long pants and long sleeves are recommended as there is poison ivy on the site. Soil and Water Conservation has given us a list of recommended herbicides as the only way to eradicate this old and widespread a population of the stuff, but we have yet to make the purchase.

The habitat has produced WAY too much wingstem this year, along with the usual plethora of bindweed and bigroot morning glory. Weed warriors are needed to reduce the numbers of these overly-enthusiastic plants. Who is available to lend a hand for a couple of hours on Saturday morning, starting at 9:00 or so? (If you don't know what any of these are, someone can show you.)
