As promised, the way to contact the Ohio Department of Natural Resources Division of Gas and Oil is by calling (614) 265-6922; their mailing address is 2045 Mose Rd., Columbus, OH 43229. The chief of the division is Eric Vendel, and his email address is eric.vendel at dnr.state.oh.us <mailto:eric.vendel at dnr.state.oh.us>.

The message should be to ask for more resources to monitor injection wells, and to STOP PERMITTING new wells. Washington County has more Class 2 wells than any other county in Ohio. 

Please make your voice heard on this issue. I plan to on Tuesday, probably.
