I am forwarding this message from UUMFE  in advance of our meeting on 
Sunday. There are several events and activities that we may want to take 
part in, some of which could fit with *The Condor and The Eagle 
follow-up project *that I'll be reporting on at the meeting.

But there's at least one thing that we'd need to do before then:

*ACTION ALERT!!! Deadline TOMORROW, Friday, February 18th to sign onto 
AS AN ORGANIZATION a letter to President Biden, asking him to fulfill 
his promises on climate with a Build Back Fossil Free approach.*

You can read the letter in the Spring for Change message to decide if 
you agree that we should sign on. So please consider this a motion that 
we ask Dawn to sign the letter representing our group (this letter is 
not for individuals). Is there a second? All in favor, *please reply to 
me or Dawn by tomorrow at 12:00 pm.*

In addition, if you want to participate on a letter as an individual, 
Interfaith Power and Light  has an opportunity for you!

Many of our communities have experienced the severe impacts of climate 
change: wildfires, superstorms, hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, and 
increasingly intense weather phenomena that cause damage, injury, and

consequences.

clean energy investments ever- and it will create jobs and protect clean

deliver on climate, justice, jobs, and clean energy.

Tell President Biden he must do all he can to convince the Senate to 
swiftly approve the Build Back Better Act that will protect our health, 
cut dangerous pollution, advance environmental justice, reduce energy 
costs for families, and create good-paying clean energy jobs.
