Just looked at the document Janelle Patterson posted from the meeting. The city timeline for a new planning document extends into 2024. It may be that the consultant who wrote me meant only that his group's work will be ending.

Subject: [Green] December GSC meeting is Sunday; call for agenda items; November minutes
Hello Green friends,
I hope to see some of you tonight at the WCC Cafeteria to learn more about Reimagine Marietta. How can it be that this is the last public meeting, but we’ve just heard about it?!?
Anyway, attached are the minutes from our November meeting. (Really. I didn’t space it this time. Hope you can all receive them. Please let me know if you did not receive them.) Please read and see if amendments or addenda are necessary. Also, please send me agenda items that should be included at our meeting Sunday. Draft agenda is below. Hope to see you tomorrow, too.

Draft Agenda, Green Sanctuary Committee meeting December 18, 2022, 12:30-ish, RE parlor and Zoom. (Thanks to George.)
1. Approval of or amendments to November meeting minutes.
2. FUUSM kitchen recycling and compost specific instructions needed. Like, what goes to Rumple, and what gets saved to go to the recycling center. Plus soft plastic that Rebecca is collecting for HAVAR. Plus that it’s OK to bring aluminum beverage cans and cat food cans (separated) and foil (separated) that Mike Bailey collects and sells to raise money for our pocket change fund (since the GSC does not have other funding). And also, we need a plan for removal of recyclables and compost. This horse isn’t dead yet. (Ew.)
3. CITF grant: Do we need to report anything to DuPont? Can we issue a press release? Mike, did you find out anything from EnGo about the special features of the bench? Do we need to design and create a sign about how the bench was funded and what it can do?
4. MOVCA update
5. George’s reports on
a. Injection Wells
b. CCL
c. Reimagine Appalachia
6. Fact Ohio update?
7. Mark’s ecological restoration projects: How can we help?
8. Reimagine Marietta
9. Sustainability Forum?
10. Honoring Indigenous People subcommittee?
11. Anything I’ve forgotten, or new business? Please let me know by 5 p.m. Friday.
Thank you for being Green!
