[Green] Injection Wells Meeting August 22

Green Sanctuary Committee:
      In the report that I distributed yesterday in preparation for our 
GSC meeting this coming Sunday, I made reference to an announcement 
about a meeting on injection wells on Monday, August 22 at 7 p.m. at 
Freedom Gate Church (104 Tennis Center Drive)- just north of Marietta 
off Route 7.
      At the time of the writing of the report I had no information 
about this meeting. I have since contacted the person who called the 
meeting. His name is Glenn Newman, and he represents a group called 
Mid-Ohio Valley Citizens Action Committee. His contact information is:

     This group is not affiliated with the church--they just use the 
church for their meetings.
    I did speak with Mr. Newman. He told me that Representative Jay 
Edwards and Senator Frank Hoagland will be at the meeting. At the 
meeting he will review the responses that ODNR made to all the comments 
made at the June 2 meeting. I sent him a copy of the comments I made to 
ODNR's comments (attached).
     Unfortunately, I will be out of town next week (leaving on Monday) 
and will not be able to attend the meeting at Freedom Gate Church. I 
hope some people at GSC can attend the meeting. Betsy Cook told me that 
she plans to attend.
