[Green] [possibly spam] Possible music for April 24 service

OH, that’s wonderful news! Thank you, Debra and Jim!

So far, here’s what we’re planning, but not in order of presentation:

Ginnie McNeil will give the reflection, on Brine Education
George Banziger will give a short report on some of the positive actions GSC has done/is doing.
Suzyn Mills has a story she’d like to present for A Time for All Ages.
Suzyn also has a song she’d like to use with the service—perhaps as the prelude, or maybe as special music or the offertory.
Suzyn might be willing to serve as worship associate—unless Rebecca wants to!!

So there’s not THAT much else to plan. Someone will need to put together the order of service. I don’t know who is doing it now—maybe Kat.

Debra and Jim, there are two more things I need to ask you to do:

April 24 is also the annual meeting, and the GSC needs to present a short report of new things we’ve done this year. I will be happy to write up the report, distribute it to GSC to see if I’ve omitted or misstated anything, and then submit the final version to the FUUSM Council. And I’ll also write an abridged version with just the new stuff and highlights that maybe one of you (Jim or Debra) would read at the annual meeting? And if you don’t want to do that, I bet someone else from GSC will be willing to.

The second thing I need to ask you is to chair the May 15 meeting. I’ll be at Magee Marsh (!) getting paid (!) by Carl Zeiss Optics (!). I will prepare the agenda before I go, so all I need you (or someone) to do is to chair the meeting. Yes?

Thanks for 1) organizing the April 24 service, and 2) considering taking on the report presentation and running the May meeting!!

I don’t know anything about the story, but the song is great. If we want to use it, Suzyn can request to get the video or audio ad-free from the songwriters/performers (Mad Agnes).

Suzyn seems to be making it easy for us! And Ginnie McMcNeil will provide the reflection, on brine education. So, all we really need is someone to work with Suzyn (or some other worship associate) to fill in the blanks in the order of service—which includes working with Randall Kidder. But not me, please. Anyone? Anyone? Buehler?
