Great idea about the Times. Michele Newbanks just did a story on an MHS grad who now works for NASA, so it's worth a try. Maybe contact her or Janelle Patterson directly?

WOW!! this is great!! Congrats to Zena and Jim and Debra!! I'm wondering if we can interest the Marietta Times in covering this with the local connection?? More awareness on Climate Change would be great..
Don't know if I'll be able to see it, but assume a recording will be available.. This is great!

Zena’s testimony will draw from recent reports assembled by the EWC-led Pacific Islands Regional Climate Assessment (PIRCA), a regional collaborative effort to assess climate change indicators, impacts, and adaptive capacity of the Hawaiian archipelago and the U.S.-affiliated Pacific islands.
The hearing will be streamed live on the committee's YouTube and Facebook sites. For more information, follow the link in our bio or visit: naturalresources.house.gov/hearings<http://naturalresources.house.gov/hearings>
