[Green] Harmar Days Schedule

Hello, all,

I just got the times for Harmar Days: Friday, July 30, 6:00 - 9:00 pm; Saturday, July 31, 10:00 am to 11:00 pm; and Sunday, August 1, 10:00 am to 4:00 pm. The car show in the Gilman Methodist parking lot will be Saturday morning and early afternoon, so I suspect that will be the day with the most foot traffic near the site.

My thinking is that we will need two people per shift: one to staff the table and one to lead tours of the site. (This is probably a grandiose term--we need someone to walk people over to the site, briefly explain what we're doing, name some of the plants, and point out any pollinators that happen to be hanging out. I am thinking maybe one per hour? Or every half-hour? What sounds reasonable?) I can do either job, depending on who is there and what you are comfortable with. We have handouts for the table, and I will be working up a talking points cheat sheet about the site.

I will be there for a lot of the festival (though definitely not until 11:00 PM!), sharing some Main Street West information as well as that about our site. We will be next to each other, so I can be plugged in about anytime.

Please sign up for the time slot and job that work for you. I don't know how big our table is, but any signage that we had for Earth Day events would probably be useful.

Rebecca
