[Green] Riverbank

Turns out, I was actively pinning plastic on the riverbank when Rebecca sent this! It had blown a lot since Maggie did her duty last week.

For those with turns coming up, some advice:
Prepare to get muddy and to crawl on your knees a bit. I did both
Bring gloves. My hands were filthy afterward.
Contact Rebecca’s to pick up a few pins. I neglected to do this, so I called her while I was there and delivered them ASAP (for which I am grateful).
Bring a mallet, hammer, or some other device to force the pins in.
If the plastic sheeting is badly blown, it could take 30 minutes or longer to redo. (That’s about what it took me.) Plan accordingly.
Part of the rock wall to the right of the steps (when facing the bank) has fallen, and there’s a huge rock on that part of the plastic. Also, a huge rock has fallen out of the wall and rolled far down the hill, almost to the sidewalk.

After dinner tonight I will work on the GSC meeting notes from our January meeting so you will have the schedule of who’s up next for the next riverbank plastic check and repining.
