[Green] Two Items

Green Sanctuary Committee:

     1. Saturday Take-out Lunch. As you may know, two of our members, Charlie Hensley and Dennis Lumbatis, are offering a take-out lunch of bean soup every Saturday for the foreseeable future.  As I mentioned at our meeting on Sunday they are using regular plastic  containers. I talked to Charlie this evening and asked him how long they will be serving the bean-soup recipe. He said for about another 6-8 weeks. Charlie and Dennis are open to using biodegradable containers.  I checked with the web site, Webstaurant, which sells biodegradable containers. For a pack of 500 soup containers they charge $57.99. Charlie said they gave about 120 meals last Saturday. We'd probably need two packs at that rate.  Please let me know your thoughts and if favorable, how we arrange for purchasing these items. If someone can find a better price, that would be fine with me. 

      2. Testimony on Injection Wells. I have been asked to provide testimony on injection wells to the Ohio legislature. I don't know the date yet, but I was told to start working on my five-minute presentation. I'd appreciate any in advice  from GSC folks.
