Thank you for all your work on this, Mike!

  *   I would second reducing the area until we know which space will be available to us.  As I walked the area, I can envision roughly a 40x200-foot area as an easy starting point. If we can get a successful demonstration space, we might be able to do more of the riverbank in future years.
  *   I left a message for Steve Wetz (safety services director) but have not heard back from him.
  *   Geoff Schenkel is supportive and sent a list of people who need to be on board with the project and logical way to move this forward through the city--never heard back from him about the statement of support I sent. (He tends to get swamped so will try again today.)
  *   Main Street West has moved its September meeting to the evening of the 20th. I will be there to share our project proposal to get support--hope to meet with director Jackson Patterson this week.
  *   We have a confirmed donation from a ward resident of $1000 for plants, seeds, and mulch if the project is approved.

I've started the revised application and made it 80% through the questions. Please feel free to review and add information that you have. I will continue working on this tomorrow. (Getting as much in as I can with 12 hr days 7 days a week shutdown schedule....)
