Yes, I saw Jay's costs and responded. $640 for electric components +
shipping + labor (+tax?). There is also wood for the bench itself, any
stain, supports, etc. Assuming the bench assembly is volunteers, I would
guess at least $1,500/bench. We must consider electric code before putting
volunteers on the project as well. I am not an expert, but I believe to
perform work on any electrical equipment outside of your own home you MUST
be a certified electrician.

I'm still leaning toward the EnGo because of the additional capabilities
built into their system and polished final product that will be difficult
to replicate. If the $4,000 is drastically off and the quote they provide
blows the budget out of the water, then we can pivot to build our own.
