I think the charging stations are less then $500 but there would
possibly be a cost for installation. Jay would know for sure because he
just finished consulting with Tri-County Vocational about various solar
things and then purchased a recharging station and installed for them.
The other big issue is that those recharging stations can bring
revenue. Jay and I take "drives" in our electric care - we drive to
Marietta, charge the car at the Armory. Walk downtown to eat at a
restaurant outside, or buy coffee at Jeremiah's. Then we can walk to
Giant Eagle to buy some groceries. This is money we used to spend in
other places. We often purchase livestock items at Tractor Supply. I
think it would add up to $300 to $500 a month in revenue for the area.
If we're doing this surely others are too, plus it brings people
downtown. Annie
