A group has been hoping to get some of the city riverbanks planted; there are seedlings from locally-collected seeds at my house awaiting a permanent home. Can the monies be used to hire labor?

Subject: [Green] DuPont Grant Change
Hello All,
I received news on the Clear Into the Future Grant that the money will NOT go to the Sustainability Forum. The Corporate Grant Director decided the event is more of a sponsorship role. They would rather fund tangible sustainability improvements such as installing solar powered car charging stations, adding native plants to river banks to filter water and prevent erosion, etc.
Given the uncertainty around the forum timing and the possibility of going digital, this is not necessarily bad news. What is good news is they still have us slated for $7,500 (one of the highest awards given globally!!!) and we can execute projects to showcase in the forum!
We have until September 11th to submit our revised application with the project(s) we would like to fund.
For those interested, let's setup a time to discuss and decide on what projects to put this money towards. Does this Sunday work? Can someone setup a Zoom meeting? I do not have an account that allows me to create a meeting.
Thank You,
Michael Chisholm
